Bio I am a South Asian multimedia journalist based in the American Midwest. I am interested in telling stories that show hope amidst adversity, focusing on the themes of race, social inequity, and the environment. This upcoming summer, I will be working as a multimedia intern at the National Public Radio.
I am pursuing an MA in Journalism at the Missouri School of Journalism, Columbia, MO. Before pursuing visual journalism, I earned a master’s degree in environmental sciences and have held internships and volunteer positions in environmental conservation. I am a member of the National Press Photographers Association, Society of Environmental Journalists, and Asian American Journalists Association.
