Bio I am a South Asian multimedia journalist and editor based in the American Midwest. I am drawn to stories that show hope amidst adversity and focus on the themes of race, social inequity, and the environment. In 2022, I received the Smith/Patterson Science Journalism Fellowship from the Pulitzer Center's Campus Consortium Program.
I am pursuing an MA in Journalism at the Missouri School of Journalism, Columbia, MO. I have worked as a visuals editor and staff photojournalist at the Columbia Missourian. Before pursuing visual journalism, I earned a master's degree in environmental sciences and have held internships and volunteer positions in environmental conservation. I am a member of the National Press Photographers Association, Society of Environmental Journalists, and Asian American Journalists Association.
